than other Boot Camps?
You see, I am just like you. I have been over weight, I have been unmotivated, I have over eaten because of anger, depression, boredom and quite frankly because the sun was out or it was dark or raining or snowing.
You get the point right – I didn’t need an excuse to eat.

When that would happen… I would make promises to myself, it sounded like this, “I will start tomorrow I promise…Next Monday…I am going to wait till the beginning of the month.” Just a few of the excuses I have come up with, believe me I have more.

I have a business to run, a wife, 3 kids, a home and all the responsibilities that come with that. I am not the wet behind the ears college graduate that doesn’t understand or empathize with my clients when it comes to the challenges they face on a daily level to stay on track with their health and fitness.

I get it!! It is hard!! My goal is to help you learn simple strategies that will help you get where you want to go.

I started KC Boot Camp less than three months ago, and I’ve already lost 24 pounds.  I was a little nervous to start because I hadn’t worked out in awhile and the thought of boot camp with a Marine was a little frightening to say the least, but that’s what is so great about KC Boot Camp.  It doesn’t matter if you are just starting or if you’ve been working out for years, you will definitely get a good workout with Dave!  Even though it’s a group class, it feels more like a personal training session because you can be sure Dave will make sure your form is correct on all of the exercises.

Everyone in the class is very supportive and you are not judged which is a tremendous help as well.  Not only is it a great workout, you will also get great nutrition advice and believe me, being accountable for what you put in your mouth really makes you think about it before you eat!  I still have a ways to go to get to my goal weight, but am very confident that I will reach my goals through Dave and KC Boot Camp!

I started KC Bootcamp over a year ago. It would be lying to say I was not scared to start. It sounded so hard and unattainable for me. I mean, really, I had not worked out in several years, I’m busy and in my 40’s…It’s hard to get that drive up and running again. Plus – he’s an ex-Marine! Yikes! But, I faced my fear and gave it a try. David was awesome in working with all different levels of clients. He gave different variations based on our individual needs. I was able to work in slowly, at my own pace. I am amazed at every workout how much more I can do and endure. For something that really scared me to try – I am so glad I did! I love my workouts with Bootcamp Dave! I love the physical challenges he sets forth as well as the new friendships that have come from being part of such an awesome group. I have amazed myself at what I was able to accomplish. I will continue to push forward and continue to improve my physical capabilities. I will gladly do this with the expertise of David Felix and KC Bootcamp.

My friends ask me how I can get up to exercise at 5:30am. I told them that after the first few days of boot camp, it became easy when I realized how much better I felt physically and emotionally. Additionally, I find it difficult to come up with my own variations of workouts and become bored quickly without that variety. Dave makes the classes fun yet challenging and keeps me engaged by changing up the workouts. Dave keeps the class light and fun while encouraging us to push ourselves a little harder, to be a little stronger. I enjoy the fact that the class is filled with real people just trying to keep a balance of work, family and health! I’ve been going to boot camp for over 2 years and still love it!
